Mayhem, I have a problem. When I'm doing belly down armbars on sweaty 200+ pound people, and im talking around 250 here, when they are so sweaty, sometimes I just can't get a grip on the wrist enough to lock their elbow up, the same goes for an omoplata on these big sweaty guys. could you help me with this problem please?

There probably isn't a whole lot that you can do if you are worried about keeping a hold of them if they are sweaty... Grip is the key I would say. Try out some grip strengthening exercises?

I guess that's the advantage fighting for along period of time. Even when I roll with a GI, after about 10minutes, it becomes 100x harder to grab an arm or leg because it slips out. You can try grip exercises like hitthetc. said. One exercise you try is what I do for muay thai. We have two big gatorade coolers that are filled with rice. Put you're hand in both and squeeze you're hands to make fists. Do this for along period of time, cosistantly and you will notice a huge difference in the strength of you're grip. I did at least. This is just 1 out of many grip exercises. Hope it helps. BTW, can you guys imagine how hard it is to get a guy all lubed up with vasoline in an armbar?

But you wouldn't want to give her an armbar, would you?. . . . . . would you? Oh. You evil, evil man.
p.s. If you're defending yourself against a she-man(and the master of the universe) rapist I'm all for giving it an armbar
