So what was everyones reactions versus predictions? (I chose a good show to start putting money on) Anyone catch the mat-sliding (not his feet slipping, but the mat actually sliding) on Randy's advance which led to the KO? Not sure if it would have had an effect on the outcome... Halla back-

I think it had a huge part to play in Randys defeat,Chuck was just quick enough to capatalise on it. Not saying that Randy wouldve won however, but it led directly to him losing...i have no doubt about that. I was feeling very sad when he retired,Randy was great for our sport

Randy will be back, like any great athelete he won't be able to stay retired. I predict he will come out of retirement for one more fight, or I atleast hope he'll fight in Pride or something.

As much as I love watching Randy fight, I know that I would rather him teach the arts he has learned, than have him pull a Ken Shamrock... Don't get me wrong, I think that Chuck's probibly the only one in UFC who Randy would have a problem beating, but it's the classic M. Jorden case where of course he still has a lot to give to the sport, but whether he decides to give it (like Ken Shamrock/ M. Jorden) or to stay retired we can only wait and see.
