Not to correct the great Master but it is actually supposed to read Word Is BOND not born close to that famous Scarface line All I have in this world is my word and my balls and I don't break 'em for nobody -Al Pacino! it means your word is your bond.

ok monkeys, i'm going to go through this one last time. you might want to bookmark this thread for future reference and squirrelneck doubters. from my previous rant at the UG: "WORD IS BORN!!! BORN! BORN! BORN! christ. do some homework my good man. it was popularized in the early 90s by the new school era of hip-hop. run dmc, common (when he was still common sense), tim dog, krs-one, das efx, beasties, tribe called quest... bloody hell, everyone dropped it in a rhyme back then, even shaquille o'neal says it in his "honorary member" rap in 'what's up doc' with the fu-schnickens. trust, the cult has no interest in misleading you, and with that said - my word is bond that word is BORN." mma.tv/tuf/index.cfm?ac=ListMessages&PID=1&TID=716428&FID=1
