What do you guys all think? I think the front runners will probably be Muay Thai and JJ. In my mind, in terms of combat effectivness and overall baddassness, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is the champ.

Cross training/MMA is best, not one individual style.

I think they all have advantages and disadvantages Like for example if i was attacked by 3 guys,i wouldnt go to ground and try and choke one of em,or id likely get taken out by the others..just like if i was attacked by a huge guy i wouldnt stand toe to toe,id try to take them down. Cross training is the way to go Although i love the traditional m.arts and think they defiantely have a place

If I was attacked by 3 guys I would either run, try to find a weapon or do as much damage as possible before going into the fetal position. Boxing/MT and bjj

umm I personally train in Wrestling, BJJ, Boxing and Muay Thai. What i think helped me with MMA and my fight style the most would most deffentally have to be my wrestling, 4 years in highschool and then now training with guys like Bryon Schell, Bob Anderson and other top fighters. I use alot of wrestling and incorperate alot Bjj into it. My stand up is jsut... my stand up hahaha boxing and muay thai. Any ways, personally i would have to say wrestling is my fav martial art.

best for what?
In the ring some dont work well. Like Tai Chi and Boxing. Others do like: BJJ and Wrestling.
If you go up to someone that knows nothing about ground work. You should aim to take them down. If they know alot of ground try and fight them standing up. The best for street situations IMO is to Mix Boxing/Judo/and BJJ Muay Thai wouldnt hurt either.

I think for MMA, the best is BJJ, Muay Thai, and Greco-Roman Wrestling. Judo looks cool to watch but it's tough using it without a GI.

If I was attacked by 3 guys I would either run, try to find a weapon or do as much damage as possible before going into the fetal position. If I was attacked by 3 "bad bootay" guys I would scream in the best girl voice I could "im a little princess" then when they look at me confused I would run away and take my anger out on the nearest poodle. It they were 3 normal looking guys I would remove shirt and start smacking and tossing. Remove shirt so I would not get pulled to the ground. Kicks also are devastating on "untrained" people. Even the flashy ones that you wouldnt dare try in the gym. As far as the best martial art? There is no answer, top guys all have different backgrounds. Being good at the ones you do would be the best MA.

Wrestling has the best mma record now and in history, its the most primal and natural fighting. But to be good you have to crosstrain, everyone knows that. I do +- boxing(10%) Thai(40%) Wrestling(40%) bjj(10%). I find that boxing helps my striking and defence in MT, also looking at some TKD to improve kicking. Grappling, well, I basically do wrestling and submissions and how to set them up- stil need to work on transitions. I also sometimes bite What would the perfect mma style composition be? ?

JoSonDoe works great...if you're a 5'6" ball of muscle. I hear as of now their training techiques include standing under waterfalls while someone repeatedly bunches your balls. It's the iron ball technique.

It's the iron ball technique. This is true,i have undertaken this training. Also i have had tuition in the "art of Titanium testicle" or "ATT"...this involves tea bagging an urn of hot sand for 8 hours straight

That confirms it, extreme temperatures are absolutely necessary in training your balls.
