So Ive been reading around and this is what the card for April looks like so far. I usually don't buy the ufc ppv's but nearly every fight looks like it could be a headliner.
- Matt Hughes vs Karo Parisyan - Jorge Gurgel vs Joe Stevenson - Tito Ortiz vs Forrest Griffin - Andrei Arlovski vs Frank Mir - Gabriel Gonzaga vs Brad Imes

I'm pretty sure that Joe Stevenson and Jorge Gurgel will both be on the card but I'm also fairly confident that they won't be fighting eachother.
Hughes is supposed to fight Gracie in May so I don't think he will be fighting in April.
But really what do I know? (not much)
All that being said Arlovski and Mir is worth the $40 for the PPV.

Karo is the number 1 cont. for the belt, so I think they will be fighting in april. Although the gracie fight in May, may complicate things but who knows for sure. I was reading on the Cobra Kai Jiu-jitsu site that Stevenson was going to fight Gurgel in april.
Btw, what's the deal with Quarry... Why is he out of action?

I would think this is all assuming that AA beats sylvia. It's not for sure yet, anything can happen in MMA.

I hope Gurgel doesnt fight Stevenson, I like Gurgel and would like to see him more and more, but he will get owned if he fights Joe.

I wish the UFC didn't proclaim Karo as the number 1 contender for the WW belt.

I wish the UFC didn't proclaim Karo as the number 1 contender for the WW belt. Ditto, but my 2 cents are that they are milking Hughes and GSP as long as possible before a rematch.

What if PDP beats Mir Tonight? Then is it PDP vs. Arlovski?

The last ultimate fight night determined that Sylvia would be the next in line for AA.

Was Frank Mir ready to get back in the ring ? It looked like his left leg gave out a bit towards the begining of the fight. Was Frank worried about re-injuring the leg ? Who knows what the hell happened to him but credit to Marcio Cruz. On the subject of Karo Parysian: I think he is deserving of a tittle shot the he's certainly in the top 3 contenders slot with GSP and BJ Penn.
